As the Marketing Specialist, your optimization expertise will be pivotal in shaping our clients' marketing automation and conversion paths so that we can accelerate their growth and nurture users through the funnel in a way that will directly impact the business. This position can be remote, or hybrid out of our Quito location - we have a very active in office culture that really helps the team thrive. ABOUT YOU In this role, you will be comfortable with and capable of executing the work to support Performance Marketing initiatives. Performance Marketing at Verndale includes: marketing automation, paid advertising, conversion rate optimization and more! Marketing Specialists will also support Verndale's overall Marketing Services department's offerings and be knowledgeable in referring to them at a high level. Overall, you will be tasked with making sure digital campaigns are well-optimized with relevant emails and good landing page experiences, while also being clear and helpful to users to support our clients in driving qualified traffic and competing effectively in their industry. Responsibilities General: Presenting and communicating internally with our team and varying levels of marketing knowledge Collaborate cross-functionally to support activities for analytics and SEO as well Support thought leadership in a larger capacity: writing blog posts, creating marketing videos Primary focus on client work with oversight and mentorship on strategy from a team Lead on a weekly basis, sales support requested typically on a bi-monthly basis Stay up to date on the latest trends in marketing ie. algorithm changes, AI implications, new tools/capabilities Paid Campaigns: Perform reviews of existing campaigns and evaluate against best practices to deliver a prioritized list of recommendations for optimizations Additional assessment and proposals of what to keep/remove based on the client's unique performance and business goals Setup of any new campaigns, and maintenance of and new or existing campaigns to provide a wholistic approach Marketing Automation: Support the development of lead nurturing campaigns, including landing page creation Ensure the accuracy and cleanliness of the marketing database. Perform data segmentation and targeting to improve campaign effectiveness. Monitor lead scoring models, and collaborate with the sales team to ensure timely follow-up on qualified leads. Conversions/Optimization: Provide reviews and recommendations for the client on a long term/ongoing basis for CRO Analyze performance of campaigns and paid marketing through Google Analytics, keyword ranking tools, and content intelligence tools Participate in the design and execution of A/B tests to optimize campaign elements such as subject lines, content, and call-to-actions (CTAs) Qualifications 1-3 years of experience (not your first professional job) Strong in English language Solid understanding of sales funnels, supported by lead nurturing and generating demand Experience with a Marketing Automation tool(s) including: Marketo, Hubspot, Marketing Cloud, or similar Experience with Social Media platforms: content creation and/or paid advertising tools Familiar with the Google suite including: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio Maybe familiar with Email Marketing: landing page creation, and CRO best practices Agency experience preferred Ten Great Reasons to Work at Verndale We are a rapidly growing company that is just as scrappy and entrepreneurial today as when we were founded in 1998.
