Join a family-owned New York based logistics company with a 125-year history, with services nationwide. We are looking to fill a crucial role in driving the growth of our sales pipeline. As the initial point of contact for our customers, you will serve as a trusted advisor. The Role Serve as the primary liaison between shippers and carriers, optimizing logistics solutions. Identify and develop new business opportunities and enhance existing client relationships. Negotiate terms and rates with carriers, ensuring competitive pricing and compliance. Coordinate the scheduling and tracking of freight, managing all logistics from initiation to delivery. Handle documentation and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Utilize technology platforms such as HubSpot, Slack, and Rose Rocket for streamlined operations. Maintain an active presence on LinkedIn to engage with industry peers and promote our services. APPLY HERE >>> Ideal Profile Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred to be able to effectively liaise with stakeholders in the region. Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Knowledge of freight broker laws and regulations. Minimum of 3 years experience in freight brokerage, with knowledge of FTL and LTL shipments. Experience in logistics for cold storage or refrigerated goods is advantageous. Proficient in logistics software, Google Suite, and CRM tools. Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure. Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain professional relationships.
