Sneak Preview The Accountant position is a key member of the Finance department. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accountant is responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and inventory. The Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns, as well as signing monthly and yearly tax returns. Experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes is a must. The Accountant ultimately provides accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring companys compliance with all tax regulations.
Role Description
Signing financial statements
Manage all accounting transactions
Publish financial statements in time
Handle and plan monthly, quarterly and annual closings
Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable, receivable and inventory
Ensure timely bank payments
Compute taxes, prepare and sign tax returns
Manage balance sheets and profitloss statements
Audit financial transactions and documents
Comply with financial policies and regulations
Manage periodical reporting
Assist with audits
Direct internal audits to ensure compliance
Produce errorfree accounting reports and present their results
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
Document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Consistently deliver excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
Contribute to G Adventures performance by displaying a positive enthusiastic attitude and showing support and involvement in Team initiatives and activities.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive account management.
